The fire alarm system in the building is going wacko…!!
Initially, I have heard the fire alarm going off in the building, but it didn’t come from my apartment… must have gone off in another apartment on the same floor… Checked outside, nobody was rushing down, waited for awhile, then the alarm went silent…
But 3 days ago, I was sleeping quietly in the evening, then suddenly the fire alarm went off, in the middle of the night (3h30am), and it came directly from my room…!!
Aper lagi, melompatlah dari katil tengah2 malm buta tuh… kelam kabut keluar masuk bilik, ruang tamu, bilik, ruang tamu, dapur, bilik, toilet, ruang tamu… check semua benda kalo ada yang terbako… tak ada menda pun… punyalah bising bunyi alarm tuh, memang sah melompat dari katil…!! Lepas dlm 1mn like that, the fire alarm went dead…. Double check again kalo ada apa2 yang berasap… tak ada amende… so went back to sleep (guard didn’t call ker, dtg naik atas utk check or anything…)
Then the same day at 7h30am, the fire alarm went off again, nasib baik I was alrdy awake and gttng ready to go to opis… aper ker halnya la pulak fire alarm system nih…? Overly sensitive ker pun…?
Since then, it didn’t berbunyi from my apartment… semalam pagi, ada dgr bunyi fire alarm tuh, but from another apartment, gua buat deekkk jer…. (until the cooking ikan bilis incident, see below entry)…
Pagi nih, guess what? lepas mandi, tengah siap2 nak gi opis, the fire alarm in the room berbunyi lagi…!! Oh my God…!! Aper ker hal nya…!!
Got fed up, call security and ask them what is happening… they came to the apartment, went in to check if there is any fire, nothing… they apologize and went down… I lodge a complaint with the Building management regarding this pbm…
Tak tahan la camni hampir tiap2 hari… kalo gua ada sakit jantung, memang dah tumbang oneee… mana taknya, bunyi alarm tu sikit punya kuat mcm bunyi siren bomba….!!
Tertanya2 jugak apa sebab fire alarm tuh berbunyi (at least the one in my room)… one theory – mungkinkah wap dari bilik air lepas mandi air panas…? Possible considering the 2 incidents which took place in the morning. But what about the one in the middle of the night, jam 3h30am…?
Hmmm… ntah aper2 lah agaknya… hope that it will not be a frequent event.

Danial, I have concluded that it is the hot air vapour... so pagi2 kena jaga2 supaya wap air tuh tak masuk bilik... hmmm...

tingat fire drill di hostel. Hyper sensitive kot alarm tu. Switch on the heater bila mandi.
Pinky, dah tak bunyi dah... confirm, it is bcos of the hot vapour...:) at least now I know... hehe

Ingat ada hantu tadi... so kalau hot air vapor... how do you explain the incident at 3:30am tuh? Sapa yang mandi lor?
