Bangsa....?

was filling up a form that came from a Malaysian company..... was putting in the details of a fellow Malaysian in that form...

suddenly, I got stuck at one question : Bangsa....?

hmmm.... it has been awhile since I last saw such question.... hesitated for awhile, wanted to put "Malaysia"... but have people started doing that back home...?

at the end, I just left it blank....

damn it...!! I should have put "Malaysia".... :(

"Rasanya semua dah dapat gambar kaki encek ... Itulah Enche, selagi dia boleh sorok, dia nak sorok..... Sebenarnya, memang dah teruk kakinya, tapi itu kira dah ada banyak improvement... Daging dah tumbuh dah, tu yang nampak merah sangat tu.... Warna merah tu tanda bagus kata doktor.

Pagi hari tu, masa buka balutan, nurse tu terkejut kenapa lain macam jer kaki Enche.... rupanya Enche buat dresssing sendiri malam sebelumnya.... hmmm....... Enche biasalah suruh balik, tak ada apa-apa katanya....

Bila dah cukup tumbuh daging tu, mungkin kena buat graft surgery, ambil kulit dan tampal kat tapak kaki tuh... Operation tu yang Enche nak elak sangat, sakit katanya.... Bila ada appointment dgn Dr Pakar, kak H tanya kat kak S apa yang dibincang. Kak S tak tau apa2...., sebab duduk kat luar, tak jumpa Dr Pakar tu pun.... Enche lah yang suruh duduk diluar.... Lagi pun encek speaking dgn pakar tu, kak S tak paham..... "

hmmmm.... camna...? sayang anak, cubit2kan... sayang emak, camna...?

some of the toes were gone in previous infection....
and now this....

Mom is out of hospital, and now undergoing this "hyperbearing oxygen" treatment in a private clinic nearly everyday....

really hope that the luka sembuh cepat....

my mind is already thinking of finding a cheap ticket for a quick trip back to Ipoh..... cheap, cheap pun, it's not given, bukan tiket bas KL - Ipoh, but... hmmmm....

Alex just went back to KL today....

it's good to have the whole apartment again for myself... bukan aper, apartment ni bukanlah beso mana... so when you have company for more than a week, mulalah terasa rimas tak tentu pasal... dgn personal stuffs of your guess merata2 and invading your space (baju2 dia, bagasi2 dia dan sample2 kasut yang bersepah kat living room), mulalah nak naik bengkek.... haha... (err... Mr Kingkong is very particular about cleanliness & teraturness of his living space..., believe me, you don't wanna fool around with that....! he inherited this from his paternal Atuk - imam kampung tuh...!!)

nevertheless, after returning home from the airport, tried to do some work (office work yang tertunggak...), somehow, could really feel the silence in the apartment... felt a bit empty... hmmm.... dunno what to do... the mood to work subsided a bit... well, man man lai... do whatever you can, if not, just continue tmrw morning at the office....

after melayan si Alex jalan2, sembang2, makan2... and after all those wknd activities meronda2 UAE/Dubai...., now back to work, exercise.... and of course, catching up with other close friends here yang dah terbiar/terpinggir.... :) abis laaa, depa sure bengkek nyer... bila rasa kesepian, baru nak contact depa balik....

I just hated it.....!!

Damascus trip was a good and fruitful trip.... however, after having some good meetings with customers, the trip back was a real pain in the *rs*

Damascus airport, somehow, is small... especially when you talk about the check in counter area... afternoon seems to be the peak time for the airport... a few regional flights departs in the afternoon... to Doha, to Abu Dhabi, to Istanbul, to Kuwait, to Sharjah etc etc... as a result, there were not enough check in counter to cater for all these flights...

jadinya, utk "mengontrol" keadaan di check in counters (supaya tak huru hara...), the airport authorities only allow people with tickets to go into that area (like in Subang airport years ago...)... so those who are taking late aternoon flights will have to wait until the other flights have cleared, before these counters start checking in passengers for later flights....

Emirates flight was at 5h15pm... sebab ada banyak flights sebelum tuh, check in utk flight je Dubai started very late, only 2 hours before the departing time... (selalunya, in most airports, they start doing the check in 3 hours before departing time)...

alamakkkkkk....!! wa cakap lu....!! dekat pintu nak masuk ke check in counter......, pergghhhh....!! berpusu2 orang menunggu nak masuk check in area... dan semuanya tak nak bergerak ke tepi bagi orang yang layak masuk ke check in counter utk masuk dulu....!!

siksanya....!!

inilah rupanya orang yang menunggu depan pintu masuk ke check in counter, walhal flight depa semua lambat lagi nak start check in service.... semua tak nak bergerak ke tepi... semua kiasu nak masuk dulu....

jadinya... bila check in counter Emirates dah dibuka, dan passengers boleh masuk ke check in area, sesapa kat belakang tuh, terpaksa lah bergerak perlahan2 menempuh lautan manusia, berasak2 dgn bagasi2 yang besar utk actually masuk check in....!!

macam nak naik bas mini KL dulu2 beb....!! awatnya yang tak nak ke tepi tuh...? awatnya kiasu ya amat....? berserap darah dibuatnya pasal hal nih....


next trip, I have to plan so that I will go back taking the morning flight.... flight tengahari nih memang mencabar keimanan & kesabaran....!! perghhh...!!





anyhow, the overall trip was good... came back with a purchase order... yeah...!! we got business in Syria... this is Damascus at sunrise....

well, don't have to hire a private helicopter to have the view of Palm Jumeirah from the sky.... hehe... got this view for free (on the flight going to Damascus/Damsyik, Syria...)

Jom jalan2 Dubai Mall Aquarium

Sempena aktiviti hujung minggu, jom kita pegi Dubai (Mall) Aquarium & Underwater Zoo... eh betul ker underwater Zoo...? cam tak percaya jer....:)

entrance fee was AED50 for both Aquarium tunnel & underwater zoo... kira OK ler. Kalo nak masuk aquarium tunnel saja, the fee is AED20... tapi rasanya tak berbaloi sungguh ler kalo masuk aquarium tunnel sajer... kejap sangat, not worth it.... baik pegi to underwater zoo sekali... best...!!

Dubai Mall aquarium nih kira popular jugak ler... memang besar, clear blue water, nampak segala jenih hidup2an dlm air... memang mengasyikkan tengok ikan2 beso tuh ke atas ke bawah... my favourite is of course, the ikan pari(s)... berenang together2, ataupun ikan pari "helang" (eagle stingray...) yang naik ke atas. lepas tuh menjunam ke bawah, naik ke atas, menjunam ke bawah... exercise ler tuh...

so many people oneee....!! kalo nak tengok aquarium from outside, it is of course free...

tengok ikan2 tuh...? tengah berkumpul coz depa tengah bagi makan kat ikan2 tuh... was just wondering, kalo jerung2 tuh pun dtg dekat to the diver yg bagi makan kat ikan2 tuh, what would be his/her reaction huh...? kelam kabut naik atas "darat" tak...? hahaha....

this fish looks very innocent oneee.... but try put your hand inside the tank.... give it 5mn, then check again if you still have your hand...? still got flesh or not...? hehe... these are the piranha(s)... don't play2 huh...! kang sia2 hilang tangan kang...!!



these are water rats.... huaaa... got oso huh? thought only got tikus mondok.... depa 4 stooges nih kira tengah lepak2 after pegi berenang ke sana ke mari ler tuh... semua muka poyo jer... mintak simpati gaknya....




Giant arowana...!! tangki depa tak cukup besar laaa... depa nak buat u-turn macam siksa jaaa...

this ikan very interesting oneeee... coz mulut dia very muncung one... nih mesti sebab dulu2 dia sama ada : 1 - suka moncoi/mengadu; or 2 - suka mengumpat; or 3 - suka mencebik merajuk.... sebab tuh mulut dia muncung gila punya...!! haha....

nih dia tengah exercise mulut kut, or tengah warming up, to start another mengumpat session dgn kengkawan... :)... ekcelli, rasanya, ikan nih tengah mengaut serbuk2 makanan dalam tangki tuh...

obor2.... mengasyikkan... dalam tangki warna biru.....

ketam beso tuh....!! yang depa tangkap kat Alaska (anybody watched that documentary at Travel Channel? or Discovery travel & living...?)... besar betul kome...!!

kalo ada ketam bunga lalu tepi kat ketam beso nih, sure ketam bunga kasik tabik spring sambil lalu tepi lah...!! tunjuk hormat maaa.... mana boley lawan sama ini ketam besar....?!!

atthe zoo, also got pengiuns.... this bird cannot fly one, but can swim dahsat oneee....!! memang laju...!!

best gak tengok pengiun nih berenang ke sana ke mari... so playful...

itu jer ler... conclusion... personally, gua rasa this aquarium is better than the one at Atlantis Hotel, walaupun lebih kecil.... sebabnya, the water is clearer, they have good background audio sound effect (at the zoo), suasana aquarium/zoo yang terang,... more condusive lah...!! overall, better...!!

sajer jer ambik gambo Burj Dubai nih... ntah bila ler nak siap sepenuhnya... just discovered that this bldng is not for offices only, but a combination of hotel, offices, apartments and of course, shopping mall "downstairs" (kat bawah bangunan tuh ler...)... ntah saper ler yang bertuah yang beli apartment yang kat tingkat atas tuh....!! sure panorama yang mengasyikkan.... apa2 hal emergency, tak payah nak cuba turun tangga, pecahkan cermin, and jump down with a parachute jer....!! haha...

looks a bit familiar rite...? ingat tak apa dia...? ada iras2 belakang Suria KLCC (near to the big water fountain and park...), rite...? funny... :)
