Damascus again....

pegi Damascus kali ni, terserempak 3 kete Proton... sebijik Waja, 2 bijik GenII... felt a bit funny (and proud of course), that the plate number is all written in "jawi"... Syria is apparently one of the Arab countries which are the most "Arabisized".... segala is in Arabic.... not many people speak any foreign languages (English ker, French ker...). siksanya aku nak ke sana ke mari dgn taxi drebar yg tak reti English nih... Syria was a French colony... French pun depa tak leh cakap... Syria is not pro-american at all... and they apparently have close ties with non American allied coutries (Russia, China...)

next time gua ke Damascus, nak stay back la... visit the old city... Damascus is also one of the oldest cities in the Arab world.... must be interesting to visit the old quarter...

well... stayed at the same hotel as last time, but smaller room... USD150 per nite, mahal nyer...? eh, mahal ker...? compared to other Arab countries, this rate is quite reasonable...

katil utk tido semalam... lena...!!

yours truly, ambik gambo bathroom (aper ker jadahnya ambik gambo bathroom...? I oso dunno)... pegi mtg pakai coat and tie komeee....!!! perggghhhh....!! mesti...!! jurujual professional, nak buat camna...? first impression is the very important.... haha

Burj Dubai at sunset

from Al Khail Road... on the way home from opis...

Dubai Terminal 1

To go to Damascus this time, I took Gulf Air, so kena pegi Dubai Terminal 1 for check in... guess what I see....?
Airport kosong beeebbbb...!! tak ada orang pun...!! this is 6am in the morning... all Emirates flight dah pindah Terminal 3, so terminal 1 is only for foreign airlines... kosong giler....! memang aku suka...!!! tambahan pulak.....

at terminal 1, I can go to Diners Lounge...!!! yeah...!! puas aku melantak makanan kat situ for breakfast... sebab dah lama tak masuk Diners Lounge nih, aku pun balas dendam laaa....!! lepas makan breakfast, aku siap melantak ice cream lagi....!! haha... ok tak? makan ice cream after breakfast, at around 7am.... haha...

then go upstairs, smoking area, have coffee and cookies... while waiting for my flight with Guld Air.... kejam kan...? haha

Bahrain airport...

First time to Manama, Bahrain (airport)... tak keluar airport pun, just transit, on the way to Damascus... naik Gulf Air
masa nak touch down... looks like a nice city...

kampung2 dekat dgn airport kut...

baru nampak real sket kg Arab... ada pokok kurma... hehe...

Manama airport... Gulf Air home base... wow...!! they have Bahrain Air now... another new airline in the Middle East...

Gulf Air, oldest carrier in Middle East, was originally owned by BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation), then was taken over by 4 Emirates (Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman)... after that, one by one, the 3 non Bahraini Emirates left the company, and created their own airline (Qatar - Qatar Airways, Abu Dhabi - Etihad Airways, Oman - Oman Air). Now Gulf Air is 100% owned by the government of Bahrain (then.... err... who owns Bahrain Air?... hmm, gotta check that out)

Manama airport, kira OK jugak lah... modern, but start to show some wear & tear... dah tunjuk usia dia la tuh...

not so small like Doha airport (Qatar), yang tak sampai 5mn dah abih round satu airport (well, they are in the midst of building a new airport/terminal)

makcik makan burger camna makcik? how come got no lady section one? (like in Saudi)... Bahrain is very near to Saudi, got bridge to go to Saudi (Bahrain is an island), Bahrain is as "open" as Dubai... err... worse? this is the nearest place for Saudis to "merembak segala"... wknd penuh Bahrain dgn Saudis...

ok... I can say that I have been to Bahrain... ok, kat airport jer... tapi boley kira la tuh... hehe

Tak ada "Paedah"...

Suatu hari Pak Pandir ingin memulakan satu perniagaan namun masih kekurangan modal.

Pegawai : Kenapa pakcik? Ada yg tak kena ke ?

Pak Pandir pun berpaling dan ngan nada yg tinggi berkata.

Pak Pandir : Nak buat ape aku buat pinjaman kalau tak ada "PAEDAH".. Buang masa aku je laaa....

Pak Pandir pun beredar meninggalkan pegawai tersebut terpinga pinga.

kuang... kuang... kuang...:)

Let's go for a drink...!! :)

Thank God you're a man...!! :)

I have never voted for Barisan Nasional...!!

tahniah kepada penduduk2 KT....!! am proud of your wise decision...! tahniah kepada Pakatan Rakyat...

irregardless if one is pro or against BN, I believe that we need a stronger opposition to ensure that the government does their job.... and if they don't, we kick them out...!!

ever since I was eligible to vote (miss election sekali jer, the last one, coz I was here in Dxb),... I proudly say that I have never voted for BN... I disagree (still am) on quite a few of their principles..., and I voice it out with my "protest vote"... tak kiralah who was the opposition candidate, (PAS, DAP, PKR..., whoever), I would vote for the opposition.... but now, if there is an election in which I can participate, I would really vote for PR, coz I believe in PR...!!

today's lesson : if you are eligible to vote, register yourself, and cast your vote when the time comes... no excuses...! it's "wajib" (cheewah...!! haha... acah jer... "must do", I mean). if you cast your vote, kalah menang, you have participated in the future of the country, bukannya bising2, komen2 nakal from behind, but never do anything...

ps... jgn ada kengkawan yg ngungkit2 that I got help from BN for my scholarship... first, I am paying it back 100% (tak sio teman duit deme... hehe... pinjam kejap jer...:)), secondly, that was then, now is now...!! I voted for opposition then, to have a stronger opposition so that BN will do their job correctly, I am voting against BN now coz they are no longer relevant to the New Malaysia...!!

Where did we get this from...?

Deme kate.... kalo oghang selalu ziarah rumah kite, banyak ler rezeki kita nanti... (or was it : kalo oghang selalu ziarah rumah kita, itu kira rezeki ler tuh...).... which one is the correct one...?

and where did we get this from? got hadith one huh for this one...?

kengkawan yg tahu, mintak explain kan,.... pls....

Why rich people have some strange “pe-el”…? sesi lepas geram...!

Bukan ler teman pakat nak mengutuk kengkawan sendiri kan…. TETAPI... teman nak berceghiter sket pasai 2 org kawan teman nih ler....

Deme nih dah masuk tahap ”high flyer” ler... business baguih2 punyer... flying here, flying there... biler dpt incentive from biz partner, pegi berjalan ke sana ke mari lagi…. ”Main objective” dtg Dubai sebab nak pegi shopping sempena Dubai Shopping Festival gitu... boley...? bayo duit tiket sampai MYR3500..., stay 4 hari, dan dtg mainly utk shopping, visiting places of interest is secondary matter...

but sebab teman nih jenih ada ”hemat” sket, teman pakse deme go discover Dubai... look at the city, the cultural side of things, do some tourist stuffs, visit some historical buildings etc etc.... jgn pegi negara org, tahu selok belok shopping mall jer, but history & culture of the people & the country, sepatah haram tak tahu…. “Yeah, yeah, yeah… money talks…”, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t have to open your mind and spirit to discover new stuffs…. aku peluku kepala korang sekor2 kang…!

So deme stayed at my place…. teman tertanya2 gak kenaper nak stay kat rumah teman yg sekangkang beruk nih…? Rumah kat Mesia sket punya besar giler… Takkan tak mampu ambik bilik hotel 3 bintang ker, 4 bintang ker,… 5 bintang ker… but never mind, benefit of the doubt, teman teghima deme dgn hati yg girang dan terbuka, bukan senang nak dpt geng2 Mesia dtg ziarah weh... lagipun (agn benefit of the doubt), bila deme tinggai kat apartment sekangkang beruk nih, maka senang ler sembang2 laser melaser gossip menggossip citer2 geng2 yg lain kat Mesia atau dimana2 deme berada demikianlah ceghiter nyer… lagipun, dedeme kate, kalo ramai org dtg ziarah rumah kita, banyak ler rezeki kita nanti… errr…. Betoi ker…? Teman dah start tertanya2…

deme berdua nih tak ler tau etiquette semase berziarah kengkawan… teman bangun awal pagi2, buat makan minum, bihun goreng, French toast, buat kopi, pegi beli roti baguette perancih yg segar bugar, beli croissant buat sandwich dgn telur.... siap lepas breakfast atau any snacks..., idok ler deme nak menolong membasuh pinggan sket pun…. Tahu ler mike berdua ada oghang gaji kat rumah yg siapkan segala, but then buat ler cara org Mesia... tolong2 ler sket...

sebab teman tahu ler sket sket yg deme nih are a bit fussy, sempena nak “make sure” that they have a good time here, teman propose itinerary during the stay here.... nyesal tak abih2 teman… itu tak kena lah, ini tak kena lah… nak pegi sini pulak, nak pegi sana pulak, tanya teman amende yg interesting to visit, bila teman propose, tak suka pulak, berkira pasal entrance fee… hmmm… awat fussy sgt…? Are you paying for this “tour guide” service? Didn’t you do some research at all about Dubai and check out the interesting things to visit? Kalau nak serah bulat2 kat teman, then shut up and follow… atau bagitahu awal2 what type of activities you wanna do while in Dubai… jgn last minute suruh check yg itu, check yg ini… what? Muka teman nih muka VIP tour service “gratis” ker…?

Bukanlah teman mengharap sgt, but since they were a bit of a hassle to handle, (sampai abis teman punya wknd camtu jer melayan karenah2 deme nih), hati teman pun terdetik jugak lah..., deme dtg ziarah teman nih, sebungkus haram buah tgn deme tak bawak utk teman…. Errr… tak pikio ker nak bawakkan karipap sket? Rencah2 Brahim ker…? Ikan bilis ker…? Rencah nasi goreng ker?....

Jenuh teman membawak deme kesana kemari… well, they had fun… they mentioned it, and thanked me for the “hospitality” (deme cakap masa nak ciao)… happy sebab ada org melayan karenah deme…. But teman sekarang nih, kome….. mcm rasa serik la pulak welcoming these well off friends… dah mcm tak sedar diri lak, demanding abih mcm Datuk Datin, and kedekut segala… kedekut kederat…, kedekut berbelanja kecuali utk diri sendiri (strangely enough, they only paid for 2 meals when we ate outside, the rest, I paid for all, or we went dutch… duit minyak pun tak menghulo…). Deme ingat teman nih kaya raya ker pun…? Again, sebab dah tak tahan melayan karenah deme nih lah yg hal2 remeh temeh nih pun terdetik kat ati teman…

Well… aper nak dikate… quite often, the richest are the “stingyiest”… kengkawan teman2 yg lain, walau se-limited budget camna, bila deme dtg ada gak bawak buah tgn (tak kisah ler how small), not fussy… dan layan jer… tak ler banyak songel… lagi senang layan geng2 nih…

So kengkawan… kalo nak dtg ziarah, dijemput dtg, teman sambut dgn ati terbuka…. TETAPI….!!! Jgn nak banyak songel…!! Aku peluku kepala korang sekor2 kang…!! Nak banyak songel, sila talipon ”Arabian adventures”, get a quotation for Dubai tour... kalo servis deme tak baguih, boley complaint kat hq deme, k....!!

Ciao cincau...

1. Err... teman letak another condition, yg dtg dari Mesia tuh, sila bawak rencah2 ready mix (tak kira ler rencah nasi goreng ker, aper2 ler... yg simple2 jer)... kalo tak bawak, teman reject kat airport lagi...., dan silalah ke mana2 htl kat Dubai nih stay kat sana jer... hehe...

2. terdetik gak kat ati teman... geng2 nih jenih dah lupe ker Malaysian cultural etiquettes when visiting friends...? kalo teman buat kelas mengajo Malaysian cultural etiquettes, boley laku tak kelas tuh...? hmmm...

- mr_

Dubai and economic crisis.... effect

Dunno if you guys have noticed it… but I have the impression that there is lesser and lesser traffic jam in Dubai… well, it’ not that the traffic jam is completely smooth…. But one can notice that the traffic has eased off a bit…

Eg. Going back from work at 6pm (ok, ok… 5h30pm… sekarang nih, no more waiting till 6pm, 5h40pm.. 5h45pm, gua ciao…! Mau tunggu apa lagi sampai lewat mlm), there is lesser traffic compared to before… tak banyak sangat kereta rushing to over take one and another, and/or cutting queues…

May be there is actually a lot of people who have returned to their country due to the economic crisis… banyak gak retrenchment happening here and there, but I didn’t expect it to have such an impact on the traffic here… kat Dubai ni, you don’t really know the actual figures on some stuffs, because the government or the companies do not release infos to the market.. semua simpan bawak tikar… cover bagus2…

Well… just putting a word about it… one thing for sure, I am happy that the traffic has eased off…. Kalau tak, memang aku sentiasa sumpah seranah pagi2…

Kingkong's reply (15th Jan 2009)

(not in good mood, just came back from biz trip, letih...!!)

Dear BVC staff,

1. It is disappointing to see that you simply refer me to call member services department for reservation (in your last paragraph), when I have specifically mention in my earlier email that I am residing in Dubai and would prefer to deal with you via email (did you simply cut and paste your standard responds to all members?). It definitely shows a lack of personal touch in dealing with members. Please remember that one can see from an email, if the other correspondant is making efforts to respond to an earlier mail (and really attend to the query), or just cut and paste standard unpersonalized responds. From your below email, it really gives the impression that you just could not care less about the query and just brush it away by stating that all rooms are taken up (even if it is true).

2. I have also requested in the earlier email, to know the number of holiday balance that I currently have for the year 2008 and 2009. I did not see any single responds/words on this matter. Could you kindly provide the requested infos? Or do I have to call the members services department for this infos? In such case, pls delete any email addresses that BVC has posted in its website, under "contact us" link.

I thank you very much again for your kind attention, and hope that BVC will do its utmost effort to improve the quality of customer service for electronic correspondances.

Yours sincerely,
Kingkong

Girls Piss Me Off

I swear that if I wasn't sexually attracted to girls that I'd be gay. At least guys make sense most the time.

First off, girls just talk way too much. When you're with your other girlfriends, go ahead and talk about whatever the fuck you want. I don't care. But why exactly do you think that I care about the kind of day that your sisters co-workers dog had? Your sister is nice enough, but I don't know her co-worker and I certainly don't know her dog. So why the fuck are you telling me this story? I don't care! If you have something worth talking about, then I can enjoy engaging you in a meaningful conversation. But before you start talking to me about some of the inane frivolous shit that you talk to your girlfriends about, first ask yourself "Does this have a point?". Because if it doesn't I'm just going to smile, and nod, and zone out and you'll get mad because I'm not listening to your retarded shit!

Stop over complicating everything. There isn't an ulterior motive or hidden meaning in every other sentance. Unless, I suppose, it's coming out of the mouth of another woman. Because you ladies never can seem to say what you actually mean. You have this weird secret code that you love to try and crack and expect us guys to be able to get in on your stupid game. Guys aren't like that. Rarely rarely RARELY will you ever have to figure out what a guy is actually saying. We say what we mean. Girls have such a skewed sense of logic that this simple concept is often lost on them. When you go searching for some deeper meaning that isn't there, you're just committing to an act of futility. In the end you wind up making up some bullshit and believing that it must be true and acting on that false reality and making a mess of something for no apparent reason other than the fact that you're in-fucking-sane.

Stop getting upset at guys for trying to help solve your problems. That's what guys do. You present us with a problem, we're going to try and fix it. It's in our fucking nature. I know it's in your nature to want to talk about everything, but if you're going to bring up your problems to a guy, expect that he's going to try and do something about it or give you advice. Women always bitch that guys don't listen. It's not that we don't listen, we just don't understand why you're bringing up your problems if you don't want us to do something about it. We're not as empathetic as your girlfriends, so if you want empathy, go to them. Likewise, if guys have a problem, they'll probably only bring it up if they need help or advice. Many women will bitch that guys don't talk enough. It's not that guys don't talk, it's just that your empathy doesn't help solve our problems when we do talk.

One of the most insanely frustrating things about women is the constant reassurance. No, you're not fat. If you were fat you wouldn't be able to fit into that size 2 dress. And yes, you look good. Guys wouldn't be giving you free shit if you were ugly. (There's an ulterior fucking motive for you. Hint: They're not giving you free stuff just to be sweet.) It's so frustrating having to constantly answer those questions, only to not be believed. It's like trying to convince someone that the sky is blue. You're not blind, you're not even color blind. You can see that the sky is blue. Yet you continue to ask what color the sky is. I tell you it's blue. I know that you know what color blue is. And even though I've told you that the sky is blue about fifty-million times, you still have to ask because...I don't know...maybe it's not blue today. The sky is fucking blue goddammit! You're not fucking fat! You're not fucking ugly! You know it, I know it, everyone fucking knows it!

And fuck all you ultra-hot girls that bitch about the most retarded things. Yeah, all men are fucking pigs because they stare at your boobs. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that you're wearing a skin tight low cut shirt that has 'Bebe' printed across your boobs... one 'Be' per boob. It's totally unfair that you have to put up with guys staring at you all the time just because you like to look sexy. And boo hoo, it's so hard for you to meet a nice guy. Well actually it isn't, because the shoulder your crying on belongs to a nice guy. He's the one that puts up with all your stupid shit. And yet you some how end up with all the assholes. I'm sure that it has nothing to do with the fact that you're holding out for a six foot tall alpha-male fire fighter with a trust fund.

And finally, yay for you. You sold a freezer to some eskimos. Congratulations on being the hot sales rep. We're all very proud of you for being able to have a nice ass while the rest of us actually have to work for a living. And we're all so excited to see your new diamond jewelry. Your ability to date another rich fucktard that will shower you with expensive bobbles is commendable. And I'll be so surprised and sorry for you when he dumps you for the next hot girl. Because I really thought that materialistic trophy bagger was in love with you. But I'm happy to hear that you wrecked your fifth car while multi-tasking between your cell phone and doing your make up in the mirror. Your dedication to enforcing the stereotype of women drivers is nothing short of awe inspiring. And you're right, I was being a shallow douchebag when I commented on the hotness of Eva Longoria. So lets go see that movie where Johnny Depp makes out with Orlando Bloom on Brad Pitts abs. I know you've been dying to see that one.

Girls...you piss me the fuck off. You do stupid shit and manage to get away with it. You can be the most annoying idiots in the world. Your sense of logic and common sense seems to be a rare gift rather than a common trait. And yet I'm uncontrollably attracted to you. And that's quite possibly the most frustrating thing of all.

Embassy staffs... why quite a number of them are so rude...?

Mari kita kepoh2 menganyam ketupat hari ini...!! (sebab gua tersangatlah freenya kat opis...!! haha...)

something that I have noticed, quite often, staffs at Embassies are quite bodoh sombong (am not particularly talking about any specific Malaysian embassies/consulates... and if yes, I will say it out loud...)

case 1

when I lost my passport in Paris last time, I went to Malaysian Embassy kat Paris... the receptionist (local staff) was not friendly at all.... I was wondering why the Embassy put this "f*** up" lady at the reception... doesn't represent the image of Malaysia at all (btw, gua kenai sama ini pompuan, she started work at the embassy when I was still a student in France... wow... lama giler tuh keghojer kat embassy... masa tuh, she was a secretary if I am not mistaken... and even then she had a reputation of a "b*t*h"... )

when I told her that I remember her, only then she smiled at me... bak kata pepatah melayu... ada emas sangkut kat gigi kaaa...? tak leh senyum2 selalu, takut emas terkeluaq jatuh...!! perrghhhh...!!

then I went to the "tingkap" to do my report to get the emergency cert... I think this lady who was dealing with me was also a local staffs... since she's Malaysian, she was very nice to me... helping me with the pbm that I was facing at that time... but when there was a call, she picked up the phone, I was really surprised... she was speaking in French, and the words and the way that she was responding to the caller was utterly rude....!! (well, OK, from the conversation that I overheard, the caller was asking stupid questions, but then, no need to respond rudely... right?). well I give this lady the benefit of the doubt... may be her command of French is not so well that the words just came out wrongly (haven't you noticed that sometimes the French speak English in a very rude way...? but I have noticed that if you carry out the translation word by word, it makes totally sense because that it how they say it in French....)

hmmm.... why huh?

case 2

I went to the French consulate in Dubai, and dealt with this "b*t*h"... when I arrived, she was reading some junk mails (animated jokes)... and just didn't mind to close the email at all, to start dealing with visitors... I let her finish watching the animated joke and talked to her.... she took the police report, went inside to check on something, and when she came back, she just "threw" the police report back to me and rudely said that it was not an original copy....!! and immediately continued reading her junk emails (it was Christmas & new year time... so she was clearing up all those junk new year & christmas wish emails)... no further explanation. when I asked why she said that, rudely she said that the Consul General had her own ways of determining if the doc was original or copy....!! I was really taken aback... and I was talking to her in French, in a very nice way....! I am 99% sure that she was a local staff... (from the way that she talked in French, I think she was from North Africa - either Algeria, Tunisia or Morocco...). You know, the type who just couldn't care less since they are not representing the country of their nationality....!!

again why like that huh....?

when I was at the French Embassy in Abu Dhabi, I dealt with French people, and they were very courteous

it is also the case when I talk to Malaysian Embassy staffs who are "imported" from Mesia... rata2, I believe that they are very polite and courteous... the Malaysian Consulate in Dubai, the Malaysian Embassy in Abu Dhabi....

I seriously wonder... why like that one huh...?

Never ending story...

Remember that I had encountered some challenges in getting my resident visa in Dubai Internet City...? depa nak attested university certs laa, itu la, ini laaa... then the admin lady then was not following up on the matter closely laaaa.... akhirnya gua pegi sendiri ke Tecom/DIC to check on the status of the resident visa...?

well... sempena hilang passport nih (resident visa is stamped in the passport), I am facing the same issue again... Tecom/DIC nih memang banyak songellah....!! with the police report, I have managed to get a new passport in Malaysia... but here, nak dptkan the old resident visa to be stamped in the new passport, mcm2 hal Tecom mintak...!!

first, they wanted to police report to be translated to arabic, then the original copy has to be attested by the French Ministry of Foreign Affaires (in Paris), then it must be attested by the UAE embassy in Paris... then only Tecom/DIC will accept the police report & process the stamping of the old resident visa on the new passport....!!

siksanya...!! tak ada keghojer aku nak menganto all those papers to Paris to get them attested... first, saper nak tlng aku to get that done? mana boleh gi anto jer like that... somebody has to take them to the Ministry for attestation, then bring them to the UAE embassy for 2nd attestation... 2ndly, all the cost to get the above done will be like going to Paris yourself ... how can like that...? they crazy one huh...? yeah laaa.. I know your bapak got telaga minyak belakang rumah, can go take flight biz or 1st class to go to Paris, then come back tmrw... me? I come here to try to get some saki baki from the timba that your father use to take the minyak you know...!! makachaohai...!!

so we protested to Tecom/DIC telling them that what they are asking is so impractical... so lepas bincang2, depa kata kalau French embassy/consulate kat sini attest the docs, it will be good enough... baru laaa depa nak bagitahu... awat tak bagitahu awai2...!!

maka budak opis nih pun pegi ler ke French Consulate kat Dubai nih to get the docs attested... you know what happened...? The French General Consul refused to attest the docs because she believes that the docs were not original (rather... she has doubts if the docs were original)... so dia tak nak sign the docs... abih tuh, gua nak buat camna...? takkan nak balik gi Paris kut...?

maka dtglah idea yang bernas si budak opis nih... since I can speak French, they told me to go to French Embassy kat Abu Dhabi, goreng "skeeping" Peranchih sket dgn depa... and get the embassy to attest the docs...

maka last Wed, teman bangun awai2... siap pakai smart2 tie & coat (kan nak belagak jadik org Peghanchihkan...?) teghuih pegi Abu Dhabi... masuk Embassy, pegi Consular department, mintak attestation on the police report... "skeeping2" sket bebuih mulut... tak sampai 10mn, docs dah pun attested....!!!!

Kanena cibai luuuuu...!

disebabkan Tecom/DIC yang banyak songel, dan French consulate kat Dubai yang tak gheti buat keghojer... gua terpaksa bgn awai2, pakai smart2 mcm idup kat Eropah (nasib baik cuaca tengah sejuk, kalau musim paneh, tak ker dah lenjun bulu ketiak gua...!!), drive to Abu Dhabi (2jam), just to get the docs attested (a work which takes less than 10mn)...??

hmmm...!! inilah cabaran idup kat UAE nih... mcm2 perkara...!! and sad to say, if only I am white/caucasian, I am sure that I would never encounter such an experience....!!

Passport Mesia nih, walaupun dah tersangat baguih, masih lagi belum berapa dikenali di seantaro dunia...!! nih yg buat gua geram nih....!!

Makan-makan vegetarian food

sejak dua menjak nih, teman suka bebeno ler pun membuli bebudak kat opis tuh...! semuanya muda2 belaka... senang bebeno nak buli & goreng kelentong sampai hangus.... haha...

so sempena si Momo masuk opis, he was told that we have an internal tradition that every new staff will have to belanja the others makan after the 1st salary payment is made... haha... best kan...? Momo memang percaya punyalah... Ianya lebih bermakna buat Momo sebab ini adalah pekerjaan dia yang pertama...!! first salary ever lah kan...!! mana boley lepas gitu ajer...!! haha...

so selepas di goreng2 sehingga hampir hangus (tengoklah kulit dia tuh...!! macam dah nak terbako...!!:)), maka Khamis lepas, dia belanja makan kat opis... sempena Radha is vegetarian, so we took Indian vegetarian meal for everybody.

Jovitha, Dina, Momo & Radha... si Radha jer tak leh goreng... sebab dah masuk 50 dah... dia lebey experience,.. hehe
Dina, Momo, Radha, Jovitha....

the food... got paner masala (cheese cubes in masala), sayur campur (mcm kari jugak lah...), then kacang dal, then another dish (tak tahu aper namanya)... semuanya dimakan sama ada dgn nasi, dicicah dgn Paratha, atau dicica dgn roti bun bersalut mentega.... semua sedab sehingga menjilat jari kecuali the Dal dish (sebab teman memang kurang berkenan kacang dal nih...!)

memang sedap..., next time, boley ambik vegetarian dish chinese style cooking lak... hmmm... depa semua kat opis nih bukannya jenih adventurous sgt, mcm2 jenih makanan depa tak try lagi... si Dina tuh was so surprised on the different types of dishes that one can have with vegetables... si Radha punyerlah hepi... mana taknya, during the last outing, she was the person who enjoyed the least the food... tak banyak vegetarian dishes kat Saffron Restaurant at Atlantis Hotel tuh... but this time, all the dishes she can eat...!!

si Momo... Gooffy, aper ke nama si MIM bagi...? haha.... tq, tq, tq Momo...!! semoga panjang umur ko, murah rezeki dikurniakan Ilahi, dapat bini 4, anak berdozen2, k.....!! haha...

next makan2, would be on me, most probably... pasai nak celebrate sempena dpt balik Resident Visa kat passport baru...!! fuh...!! dahsat kome ceghiter nak mendapatkan Resident Visa nih... kalo kat Mesia, memang layak buat kenduri kesyukuranlah...!! tu yang nak buat makan2 kat opis tuh sempena dpt visa tuh... later2 I story2 you people all about the story, k...!! meanwhile,
enjoy your wknd...!!

UAE Visa run... 30 or 60 days...?

just sharing infos...

bila sampai kat Hatta, I asked the immigration officer (UAE side), when would be the last date that I have to leave UAE (do Visa run to Oman laa)...

he checked his computer, and told me that I actually have 60 days (not 30 as what is stamped in my passport).... so I didn't go across to Oman, but just made a U-turn go back Dxb

a Singaporean friend told me that she has always "overstayed" the 30 day period... but do "Visa run" before the 60 days is up...

how can you know the exact date that you have to leave UAE (do Visa run)...? go check at immigration office in Dxb city centre... bring your passport, and ask the immigration officer there the last date that you have to leave UAE (or ask this question when you come into Dxb, at the time the immigration officer stamps your passport, even if he/she stamps only 30 days...)

or, or, or... do like what I did... go to Hatta, and check at UAE side... if you still have another 30 days to go, then just make u-turn go back Dxb... (why pay for Oman entry Visa fee?)...

if you have only a few more days to go, then just go across to Oman looorrrr...

infos in adalah utk deme yg idup & keghojer secara tak sah di UAE... haha... or like me, yg kecurian passport dan menghadapi segala jenih permasalahan utk mendapatkan the copy of the old Visa on the new passport...

have fun...!
