what's new in UAE...? hmmm.... there was the opening of Burj Dubai/Khalifa... well, last minute, it was revealed that the building was renamed as Burj Khalifa... abis tuh, the Emir of Abu Dhabi gave a USD10billion bailout funds to Dubai recently... takkan bagi free jer kut...? I guess, this is what Sheikh Khalifa gets in return for the bailout fund... There was also rumour going around that Sheikh Khalifa ekcelli bought the building... hmmm... see what Petrol money can do...?

I have witnessed the official opening of Burj Khalifa... jalan kaki jer gi ker Dubai Mall to see see the opening... Memang happening abih...!! terasa pulak so privileged to be staying so near to Burj Khalifa... Well, bak kata dedeme... Carpe Diem... enjoy the moment... ntah bila2 lagi agaknya will have this kind of privilege...

what's the plan now...? well, hoping to be able to stay put at this apartment at least until new year 2011... why? sebab nak tengok fireworks display again here sempena tahun baru... hehehe...

on the personal side, nothing much, work starts to pick up a bit... and landlord talipon kata dia nak dtg ziarah... alaaaa, biasa la tuh... dia nak check rumah la tuh to make sure that it is well kept... boring betoi landlord camni... Gua bukan dtg dari undeveloped country... I know how to appreciate stuffs and take care of the apartment... I guess he would not need to visit again after visiting the 1st time... Gua memang jaga bebeno apartment nih... when it comes to cleanliness, sorry to say, I am a FREAK...!! hahaha...

A friend went back to Singapore for holiday....!! Sebab ada sorang tuh yg mengidam Kicap Manis Cap Kipas Udang...., so mintak tolonglah belikan sebotol kecil.... Bila kawan nih balik dari SIN, dia belikan 2 botol besar kicap nih....!! ha kau....!! kalo tak puas2 jugak makan nasi berkicapkan kicap manis kelapa udang nih, memang sajer laaaa....!!

anyhow, toche... toche....!! tq for the stuffs bro...!! :)

Iftar...., Merdeka.... Friends.... Makan....!!

Sempena 1st week of bulan posa nih... ntah lah... bak kata sedara mara Langkawi, libang libu ujung ati.... :)

lately work sucks... big time... need to find a reason why the past few years, I have been feeling like the work that I am doing is not fulfilling... It started after leaving the company in Malaysia... The work in Singapore, in Dubai, in Saudi, back in Dubai..., they were.... hmmm... ntahlaaaa... ekcelli the 1st work in Dubai was good, but the politics were unbearable... well now, the hunt in ON.... resume updated, and started sending them around... we'll see how it goes...

So fast, today is alrdy the 8th day of Ramadan... spiritually, I don't think that I have achieved what I am supposed to be doing... helas...!!

But fortunately, I have managed to catch up with some good friends during this fasting month...

last Thu, went out to this Restaurant at Atlantis Hotel, in occasion of Singapore & Malaysia National day, they had this Malaysia/ Singapore buffet... ouh my God...!!! saraaaappppp...!!! sedaaaappppp...!!! enak bangeeeettttt...!! menjilat siku & bahu... punyalah sedap sampai bila sampai rumah, rasa macam nak pegi lagi the following day...!! memang naik gila dibuatnya... but then, I would be back home in a few weeks only, let;s not waste money unnecessarily.... but again, the food was really really good...!! authentic Malaysian food, prepared by Malaysian & Singaporean chefs at the restaurant... it was also nice to have met up a Chef who proudly said that he was "Ipoh maliiii....!!!".. huaaa...!! orang kampung tuhhh...!!!!

The following day was Bazaar Ramadan at Consul General's house... smaller number of stalls, but the food.... was again super duperlicious...!! went there with 2 friends of Indian origin (Sadiq & Mateen), who stayed in Singapore for more than 10 years before returning back to India... after beli2 makanan, went home and had Iftar with these friends.... They were like,.... wow...!!! completely taken aback with the food that we have bought... Popia, cucur badak, Nasi lemak, mee mamak, air kelapa dan macam2 lagi... memang authentic Malaysian food... abih tuh nak buat camna, home made food maaa... depa memang suka ya amat, sambil terkenang zaman student depa kat Singapore.... I was relieved & happy that have managed to be a good host that evening.... punyalah kenyang sampai tak buat amende pun after that....

well, 2 days of intensive eating, no more food after this...

it's now Sat evening, esok start kerja balik.... well, I am just counting my days for my trip back home in 20 days...!! can't wait...!!

• ayam goreng berencah (Imran)
• sambal udang
• telur goreng
• keropok udang dan ikan
• ikan bilis
• dessert : triple dare choc cake (beli laa...) & krispy kreme doughnuts (Wes bawak)

nasib baik semua dishes yg dimasak menjadi... panic jugak gua sebab takut rasa semacam jer kang.. .alhamdulillahhhh... sodap gok...!!! :D

gathering also dibuat sempena Nisha dah habis belajar, dah confirm dpt Master degre in Business... Congrats Nishaaaa...!!

Got story behind the masak2 in the morning...! sebab menggoreng ikan bilis yg berasap2 ya amat, maka fire alarm went off...!! security siap dtg lagi... after semua settle, maka utk mengelakkan drpd fire alarm berbunyi lagi... look at below image...!! kuang kuang kuang...!!!!
