What's new... personal side...

A few things happened the past few weeks

ikan badut kat Aquarium kat Atlantis Hotel... ikan badut kaaa...? dunno, kasi hantam saja... clown fish maaa... hehe...

On the personal side, there was of course, the visit of Alex (for his business)... then came Alias from Singapore, then came Hazral... Alias came for work, same as Hazral... But Hazral, actually arrived to Abu Dhabi for 2 weeks... then came over to Dubai on Sat, the whole day and brought him around... frankly, it was nice to see familiar faces again... jumpa kengkawan lama... it was fresheshing... (macam la tak ada kawan kat Dubai nih kan...? hahaha...)

banyaknya ikan kat aquarium nih... siap ada ikan paus lagi...!! ingatkan besar ler ikan paus tuh... rupanya kemetot ya amat... baby ikan paus ja...

well, a part from the usual places that I bring friends to visit, have added a list of a few new interesting places to see.... one of them is Palm Jumeirah... just drive go all the way till the end of the Palm, and see Atlantis Hotel... the self proclaimed "berjuta-juta" bintang latest hotel in Dubai... very high end... after the launching of Atlantis hotel, Burj Al Arab hotel is 2nd class hotel alrdy... haha...

ikan kerapu gergasi... kalau dapat sekor nih, buat kenduri, cukup utk sekampung tak...? haha...

One can also park the car, and take the shuttle to shopping centre adjacent to Atlantis Hotel... just another high end shopping centre with a huge aquarium that you can view from outside... you can also pay AED100 and go see what they have inside the aquarium... did that with Alex, Alias and Imran... frankly... I think that the Aquarium in Langkawi is as good, and the one in Jakarta (the theme park at Ancol) is better... but walking along the sidewalk in front of Atlantis Hotel, with the view of the Open sea (Persian Gulf) was really nice... it started to be a bit cooler now, and with the breeze sepoi sepoi bahasa.... perrggggghhhh!! dahsat...! rasa macam kat pantai mediterranean lak...! hahaha...

a part from that, there is of course the new Dubai Mall... just opened, kat bawah Burj Dubai (tallest building in the world...)... ala2 macam KLCC ler... well, another shopping complex... am not so thrilled about it, but for those who are into shopping, puas ler hati kome merayau kat shopping complex nih... another attraction at this shopping complex is that they also have an ice skating ring (daaaa,... not interesting), and also a huge aquarium like at the shopping centre kat Atlantis tuh.... somehow I find this aquarium nicer... didn't go in, but the view from outside is much more interesting.... banyak nyer ikang...!! ikan kerapu, ikan jerung, ikan jerung tukul (hammer head shark?), ikan badut (clown fish?), ikan pari... dan macam2 ikan lagilah...!! memang terpegun ternganga mulutlah tengok ikan2 tuh... haha... was nice... for me, that was the main attraction.... lagipun.... kalau dapat tangkap ikan2 tuh & buat ikan bakar...!!! perrgggghhhh....!! sure sedap sehingga menjilat siku...! kan...? haha...

Imran, Alex Firdaus, Alias.... melepak, sembang2 menyedut udara sepoi sepoi bahasa Farsi + Arab + Urdu + Hindi... haha...

Atlantis Hotel... very happening ler kononnya... tak tahu ler... tak pernah masuk...

a part from that... well, bawak kengkawan nih jalang2 kat the usual places... naik abra kat Deira, go see Bastakiya, go to spice souq, gold souq, textile souq.... jumeirah beach, see burj al arab... madinat souq, ski Dubai... so dlm masa sehari, puas lah berjalan discover Dubai, ambik gambo sana sini... just nice... balik letih terjelepok kat atas sofa... :)

udang kara kat dalam aquarium...!! perrrghhhh...! kalau masak merah udang nih... fuyo..! sure sedap sampai jadik giler...! haha...

so... now... resting time, no visitors... bulan Jan 2009 nanti, might have 4, if not 3 visitors... Alex mungkin dtg lagi (bisnes maju weh...!), then Gan, then si Ramlan & Azri... tak tahu lagi when exactly they will arrive... cuma harapnya, they will not all come at the same time... if that's the case, alamat tak terbawak kemana2 ler... kete ada 4 seats ajer... yang lebih tuh nak letak mana...? atas bumbung...? haha...

gambo2 berikut adalah gambo2 kat Dubai Mall punya aquarium lak... tengok tuh...! besonya ikan pari dia....! buat ikan bako, kenyang satu famili...! btw, it was fun seeing the sting ray going up and down the aquarium... dia panjat atas, then dia menjunam turun bawah... macam kapal terbang jepun tengah kamikaze lak rupanya... :)

a part from friends visiting, I have been a bit sick lately... flu... most probably due to the climate change... well... it's about 23degre C now during day time... and even lower in the evening... taking vitamin C everyday now, antibiotics... flu & cough medicine... semoga sihat cepat nanti...

oklah... that's all I guess on the personal side... esok citer work side lak...:) ciao cincau...!!

p/s going to Musandam on Sun...!! eh...! mentioned that alrdy earlier... hehe... happy sangat nak pegi kut... tu yang terbagitahu dua tiga empat kali tuh... hehehe...
