"I truly agree with you on this and my father was an ex-Army (butRanger la, masuk hutan tembak komunis during 60s-70s), hence due to its elite status I feel uncomfortable with the idea of RAMD performing ceremonial guard to the former Colonialist.

Annually, at least one cadet from Malaysia offered a place at Sandhurst for the gruelling 44 weeks course before being commission as 2nd Lieutenant in the Malaysian Army. Even former Agung,Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin also underwent training as a Cadet Officer in Sandhurst from January 1964 until December 1965.
