Kembara, is it advisable to bring along a DSLR? Banyak dengar cerita camera kene rampas betul ke? And wow you managed to snapped pictures in the mosque - I thought that's not allowed?

Kalel, you are not supposed to take photos IN the mosques (masjid Nabawi, Masjid Haram, masjid Quba, masjid Qiblatain...) but taking photos outside the mosques is OK.. at Masjid Haram, you also cannot bring in any bangs inside except small sling bags... so kalau nak ambik gambar dlm masjid haram, guna compact camera which you will smuggle in your pocket/hajj belt, or guna hp camera... jgn ambik gambar depan2 polis dia... they will give you a warning and kalau tak ada rezeki, they might confiscate your camera... nowadays, they are more lenient about taking photos, but careful, don't take too much risk - officially it is still an offense. read this entry : (http://uncle815.blogspot.com/2008/07/makkah-al-mukarramah.html) about his experience having his camera confiscated by the Police

Yaz... tak sanggup la nak licin semua... dah la muka aku bulat, kalau dah botak, lagi bulat muka aku... lagipun, this Sun will start work in a new company... apa lak depa kata nanti... hehe

Yaz, you will be surprised... banyak tempat ada instruction in BM/Indonesian.... kat electric signboard dia pun ada... depa letak notice/instruction in Arabic, Persian, English, French, Hindi & BM/Indonesian... notice in BM/Indonesian... tuh kengkadang rasa it is in BM, kengkadang can tell that it is in Indonesian... yang ini aku rasa in BM... elok tersusun ayat dia... dan tak ada salah ejaan

Ko kena melompat macam Nabila anak Amy Search kat Mekah tue. Baru meletup. Tapi ko bukan kat Malaysia pun. Ape ko tau?

KK... kenapa ada banner buang sampah tu dalam bahasa melayu... teruk sangat ker orang Malaysia nih dalam bab membuang sampah nih... Abg Bear bila lah nak ke sana yer...
Arel... yeah I think so... but they are making big plans to redevelop the area... cuma Zam2 Tower & Safwah Tower jer akan stay.. yg lain semua akan kena demolished & rebuilt (including Hilton, Intercon... etc etc). dah start dah (but on other buildings sebelah tempat Saie)....
MIM, weather was OK... tak ler paneh sgt... biasa2 jer.. hehe...
poster tu, memang diperlukan... jemaah dtg dari merata tempat, dan ada yg tak gheti lagi nak jaga kebersihan... sedih gak sebab ramai yg main buang2 sampah gitu jer... I didn't do any entry on Saudi R&R... masyaAllah.... unbelievably dirty... but Mesia was not any better a few years ago...

BM, alaaa... depa letak banner tuh in all languages.... but I serioulsy think that there was not enuf dustbin ler kat Mekah (and even in Riyadh)... gua rasa depa semua nih respect org Mesia/Indonesia... had some good remarks and help oleh sebab muka Pinoy nih... hehehe
insyaAllah sampai tuh... hai, ke Jogja boleh sampai 2 kali, takkan ke Mekah/Madinah tak leh....? kuang kuang kuang...!! kan dah kena laser (ala2 Mak Bapak yg tak paham anak2 yg asyik pegi melancong... hehehe... just borrowing words of wisdom from my parents... hehe...)
