while sembang2 kosong with my sister, and my brother (yg 3 abang lagi tak balik raya tahun nih, sorang kat Kuching dah bercucu dah pun, kira dah jadik org Sarawak la, last time he came back for raya was like more than 10 years ago, sorang lagi kat Banting raya kat sana tahun nih - got la some story why he's not coming home this raya, takut nak jumpa mak bapak & kena lecture coz of something that he did recently, dan sorang lagi kat Perth tak abis belajar lagi), my sister told me that my ex (whose family stays in the same township) got married again recently...
"ok... good for you, am happy for you... doanya that you have found a better husband than I was..."
lega pun ada... coz, sometimes, somehow... still feel guilty for what has happened, irregardless of whose fault it was... (it takes 2 to tango, and the whole kampung to berjoget lambak, remember...?)
basically, my family was invited to the wedding reception, and as good ex-besan my family is, they went to the reception... ok, move on....
later during the sembang2 kosong session with my kakak & abang, my mom came and sit down with us at the dining table... she just listened to our conversation, while reading the newspaper...
suddenly, out of the blue, enche asked.... "ko nih sampai bila nak idup sorang2 nih......????"
Gulp....!!!! huh....?!! I was lost for awhile.... blank.... no answer....
hmmmmm....!!! here it comes again...!! have not heard this question for quite awhile, I am sure that this question popped out again because of my ex' recent wedding... aaahhhhhh....!!
during my stay so far, had anthr auntie who asked me the very same question during our visit to kampung... sebab pangkat makcik, dan makcik nih pun memang boleh bawak bual2 merapu usik mengusik... maka gua pun jawap ler....
"yang Mak Ngah seybok2 nih kenaper...? huh, cepat cakap....!! cepat...!! Mak Ngah dpt komisen berapa nih...?" hehe... sambil bergurau ler...
today, at my sis house (breakfast keluarga kat rumah kakak), enche asked my sis (supposedly done discreetly, but I saw & heard what enche was talking about with my sis) to ask me the same question again... luckily my sis told my mom "Enche tanyalah dia sendiri....!!"...
hmmmm... is this goes on, it will get on my nerve for sure.....
p/s... korang jgn gatal2 nak tanya soalan yg sama... aku suku kepala korang kang...!!

1. "Datang lah esok.... Bersanding tengahari. Jangan lupe" Its works, my fren, he teach me this phrase. and its really work ;)
2. "Carikan lah yg tinggi, hansome ,kaya, alim and single." This really work. I used this since long long time ago. ( This for gals lah you tuko lah to guy nye category).
But both a bit irritating but its work. People wont bother you with tis type of Q. ;)

My standard answer "Kan I still tak reti masak nasi, so tak pass lagi nak kahwin ler" (yes, remember, I was infamous for never being able to cook rice even with the rice-cooker, Bamb sampai bising asyik kena buang 5 pot of rice everytime I cook, hahahahaha!
Pinky, I took out another option for this dilemma some years back... merantau ke Singapore, then to Dubai... tak ada saper nak kacau except during the holidays when I come back... radical kan...? ala2 anak bongsu merajuk membawa hati power nyer... hahaha

we are of Kerinchi origin... apparently kat Perak, they even have a "Persatuan org Kerinchi.." my dad went to their mtng some time back... my Dad still remembers my great graddad's (moyang) 2nd wife and "Tok Muda" dia when he was small (anak baru moyang)... the 2nd wife & Tok Muda went back to Kerinchi after my great grandad passed away... and we have some relatives in Terengganu from the Kerinchi connection
